Above all, jumps and slides are NEVER compulsory in a canyon! On the other hand, you may have to use a rope to get over certain obstacles (zip line or abseil).
If you’re more of a contemplative type and not too daredevil, you can also go canyoning: you can enjoy the beauty of the canyon or accompany your family without worry. There are no major currents in the canyons we offer.

Canyoning is the ideal outdoor activity for children. Jumping into pools, sliding down slides or abseiling are challenges that children can only dream of.
Altipiani has opened a special children’s canyon, the Capelli, accessible from the age of 5-6. Children must weigh at least 20 kg.
From the age of 10, depending on their sporting experience, children can tackle the Verghellu or Tavignano canyons.
From the age of 10-12, you can accompany your child on our most challenging canyons:

In summer, we recommend the Verghellu, a canyon opened by Altipiani, an extraordinary site for beginners and experts alike! The Tavignanu, with its jumps and long pools in which you can swim or simply let yourself be carried along by the current.
For families with young children, the Capelli canyon is the perfect place to enjoy the peace and quiet. A special canyon descent for children aged 6 and over (minimum 20 kg)!
You can also discover our day canyons: the Saut du Cur\u00e9, the canyon \u2018Au mille saut\u2019 for \u2018jumpers\u2019, and the Vecchio, a sporting and aquatic canyon with slides and jumps.
In spring, we prefer the Petra-Leccia canyon. Climb aboard Altipiani’s electric bikes and we’re off to the canyon itself. A unique experience. For families and others who don’t want to pedal, we suggest the U Branu canyon, with its abseils and jumps. The summer canyons are not accessible due to the excessive water flow.

The first and only via cordata, or via corda, in Corte in the Restonica valley was equipped in 2024 by Altipiani.
This vertical hike, known as the via corda, offers views that only a vertical hiker can contemplate.
The via corda should not be confused with a via ferrata, climbing or mountaineering. You will be linked by a rope to your guide, who will lead you along \u2018paths\u2019 that you could never have imagined when looking at these mountains.
You’ll use your hands to hold the famous taffoni, which have been carved out of Corsican granite to form natural steps to help you climb the rock. Sometimes, we have had to add a few metal steps to help you.
The via corda is accessible to children aged 7 and over and to anyone wishing to discover unique landscapes while climbing a mountain in complete safety.
Altipiani provides the equipment you need for the via corda: harness, helmet and lanyard.
